Wait a hot second, is it my over imagination or does it really seem like Sora turns Kairi around and pulls her close to not only hold her steady but shield her face (and stomach/chest/inner organs)?

It’s barely visible because of the light effects, but Sora’s hand motions and Kairi’s flowing hair seem to allude to it.
