I made this when Sapotis aired but I never really liked it. There’s so many mistakes… but I want to post it because maybe somebody might like it.
@cheklmn Before Volpina aired people were SUPER excited at what everyone thought was a new miraculous hero, and she was known about for at least a year before her episode aired, so unfortunately in all that time a LOT of headcanons were made about her. Most of them projected this older sister archetype onto her and people were pissed to learn she was more of an antagonist than anything, thus the hate lol. Maybe there’s some of that typical ‘she gets in the way of the love square’ mentality but most of the resistance towards her character is because people expected one thing, and got another. Which was unfair, considering we knew nothing about her and were promised nothing.

“no Nino I do not have a crush on Mari I just think she’s super cool and I want to have the Friendship™”
and
“wait why is she laughing at what Nathanael said, my puns are funny, oh golly gosh she sure is cute when she laughs”“Oh boy a lot of Ppl have crushes on her, I can see why…I mean I DONT have a crush on her but I mean she is really pretty and super nice and did you see how many freckles are on her face?
